Use Apple’s App Store, confirm the developer identity and check that the listing supports your exact Apple device.

Choose the correct App Store listing

  • Follow the App Store link from a developer-controlled website when possible.
  • Compare the developer name, privacy information, version history and supported devices.
  • Do not assume that an iPhone application includes an Apple TV version.
  • A Mac listing may run on Apple silicon without being designed as a native macOS app.

Set up the player

  1. Install the application from the App Store.
  2. Open it and choose the login method specified by your authorized service, such as a playlist URL or account fields.
  3. Enter the details exactly. Avoid saving credentials in shared clipboard managers or screenshots.
  4. Allow the initial list and guide refresh to finish before closing the app.
  5. On Apple TV, use the remote or a trusted nearby Apple device to enter text.

Privacy and playback checks

Review network, local-network, tracking and media-library permission requests. A streaming player normally should not need access to contacts, photos or precise location unless a clearly explained feature requires it.

  • Update iOS, iPadOS or tvOS and the player.
  • Restart the device and router when playback fails across multiple apps.
  • If only one player fails, export no credentials; reinstall from the same App Store listing and enter them again.
  • If your authorized service limits concurrent connections, stop playback on the other device before retesting.
