Choose a trustworthy installer

  • Start from the developer’s official website or verified source-code repository.
  • On Windows, review the publisher shown by the installer and Windows security prompt.
  • On macOS, confirm whether the file supports Intel, Apple silicon or both.
  • Do not disable antivirus, Gatekeeper or application-signing checks merely to install a player.

Add your authorized playlist or account

  1. Open the installed application.
  2. Choose the exact login format supplied to you: a remote M3U URL, local playlist or account/server fields.
  3. Paste the value without adding spaces or changing URL encoding.
  4. Name the profile without including a password.
  5. Save, wait for the first refresh and test content you are permitted to access.

Desktop troubleshooting

  • Allow the player through the firewall only for the network scope it needs.
  • Check system date and time, because certificate validation can fail when the clock is wrong.
  • Test the same authorized playlist in another known player to isolate an application problem.
  • When uninstalling, remove saved profiles if the computer will be sold or shared.
